What’s particularly exciting for those considering
transitioning to iPad for work is that Apple is
set to release another generation of iPad Pro in

  1. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman,
Apple is reportedly set to add a glass back to
the iPad to enable wireless charging for the
first time, and Apple could even bring the M1
Pro or M1 Max chip to the iPad Pro to bring it in
line with the MacBook Pro range, though some
might suggest that such a powerful chip could
be considered overkill on the device. Instead,
Apple might premiere the M2 chip on the iPad, a
chip that’s also set to be handed to the MacBook
Air when it’s redesigned this year. Of course,
    most information about the next-generation
iPad Air is speculation and insider gossip, but it’s
worth mentioning that Apple could stick to the
    128GB, 256GB, 512GB, 1TB, and 2TB storage sizes
on the iPad Pro. However, with Apple moving
away from the 64GB size option on the iPhone,
some predict Apple could start the iPad Pro with
    256GB capacity.

Another change expected in the next-
generation iPad Pro is a larger battery life,
which will no doubt go down well with
professional users who are looking to get more
juice out of their machines. Indeed, some users
have complained in recent years that the Magic
Keyboard on the iPad Pro can cause excessive
battery drain, and considering MagSafe
charging has been rumored on the Pro
machine, it makes sense to boost the battery.
Apple could even add reverse wireless charging
for the first time, allowing users to charge
their iPhones, AirPods, and Apple Watches on
the back of their iPads, making it the ultimate
media hub.
