You must provide your affiliates with the tools to make
their job much easier. You can write emails for them to
send to their lists, tweets they can use on Twitter, and
articles they can post to their blog. All of this makes it
much easier for them, and more likely they will make the
effort required to be successful. Be sure to give them their
exact link within each email message you send out so they
do not have to take the additional time to look it up.
Provide some training on a regular basis. This will ensure
that your affiliate program runs smoothly and that
everyone is on the same page. Many affiliate marketers are
new to working on the Internet, and you want to take the
time to train them on how to best promote your products
and services to others. This will also set you apart from
most of the others who are running their own affiliate
programs. The idea is that they will think of you when they
are looking for something to recommend to their audience.
Taking this extra time will pay off well, in terms of
increased sales and visibility.
