Buro Menke & Kohler, structural engineers. The plans of
the two parts of this building are shown here. Although
these have a relatively complicated form the structural
arrangement is conventional. In each case there are four
lines of vertical structure which run longitudinally
through the building, one in each perimeter wall and two
in the interior. At the perimeter these are literally walls
with holes punched in them for doors and windows. In
the interior they are lines of columns. The floors span
between these lines of vertical structure.
