Dante Maffia was born in Calabria in 1946. He
graduated in Rome, the city where he lives and works. He
founded and directed two journals: Il Policordo and Poetica;
he contributes to RAI’s Books column and numerous
reviews. His publications include: Il leone non mangia l’erba;
Le favole impudiche; Passeggiate romane; L’eredità infranta;
Il ritorno di Omero; L’educazione permanen¬te; La castità
del male (Premio Montale); Confessione; A vite i tutte i
jurne; U Ddìe poverille; I rùspe cannarùte. La saggistica

Lagorio e I colori della vita nella narrativa di Giorgio
Saviane.
Angelo Mundula was born in Sassari, where he practices
law. A frequent contributor to the cultural and literary
pages of the major Italian newspapers, for the last twelve
years he has been contributing to the Osservatore Romano.
He has published several books of poetry: Il colore della
verità, Padua: Rebellato, 1969; Un volo di farfalla, Pisa:
Giardini, 1973; Dal tempo all’eterno, Florence: Nuovedizioni
