Please remember your target audience when developing web content. If you are producing

websites for a large organization, you are almost certainly aware of recent legislation in the

U.S. and U.K. that is cracking down on companies that produce inaccessible sites. An over-

abundance of JavaScript is a surefire way to make your site unusable for people with audio

browsers, text-based browsers and possibly those unable to use a pointing device. Always

check that whatever you do with JavaScript can be done another way if the user doesn’t have

JavaScript available to them.
