■Tip Because Spring MVC requires so many parts of the Spring Framework and you are likely to use more
than the minimum, we recommend sticking with the full spring.jarfile. Updates to new versions will be
faster too.
Third-Party JAR Dependencies
No matter which configuration you choose, you will also need commons-logging.jar, the only
required external dependency of the Spring Framework.
Installation
As with all Java web applications, these JAR files must be placed into the /WEB-INF/libdirectory
of your web application.
Before we build the home page, we will first quickly introduce the central trinity of a
Spring MVC application: the Controller, View,and ModelAndViewclasses.
