As the Moon

WHENEVERyouconsultanalmanactoknow
whentherewillbeafullmoon, ortoknow
whenthemoonwillriseorwhenitwillset,
andwhenyouconsultatableofthetidestolearnthe
timeofthehighorthelowtide,youareinthatstudy-
ing,though itmay be unconsciously, acommentary
onone oftheverses in theBible. You are simply
showingyourpracticalrelianceuponagreatfact,and
thatis the faithfulnessof themoon. *'Oncehave I
swornbyMyholinessthatIwillnotlieuntoDavid.
Hisseedshallendure forever. ... Itshallbeestab-
lishedforeverasthemoon, andasa faithfulwitness
inheaven." Ps. 89 :35-37.
The moon is a faithful witness in the heavens.
