TheGospelofDespair

THERE is one idea advanced by astronomers,
which,triedbytheWordofGod,isutterlyer-
roneous. I feelinclinedtocallittheeverlast-
inggospelofdespair. Itistheideathatthesunand
allthestarsmustonedaygrowcoldanddie. True,
accordingtothespeculationsof thesescientists, that
dayisverydistant;buttheysayitisneverthelessquite
certain. Somedayintheremotefuture,thesunand
thestarswillrolloninspace,coldasicicles,anddead
ascinders.
