the manifestation of truth. God scatters the light
asthefarmersowstheseed,—notafewkernels,not
afew rays;Hesowsit. "Lightissown!' AndHe
scattersthelightwiththesameintentionwithwhich
thefarmersowstheseed;namely,thatitmayyieldin-
crease. "Lightissownfortherighteous!' Ps. 97 :ii.
God grantthatwemaybe amongthese righteous
onesforwhomthelightissown. Godgrantthatwe
maybe the "wise,"who "understand these things."
