SUGGESTIONS FOR ARTHRITIS AND OTHER


BONE DISEASES*


➤ Progesterone. Use a natural progesterone cream and
follow directions on the label. Progesterone rebuilds bones,
literally increasing the rate at which new bone is built. It is
especially effective in osteoporosis. The decline in bone
mass corresponds to a drop in progesterone during
perimenopause.^7
➤ Calcium food complex. Taking calcium without co-minerals
can lead to osteoporosis.
➤ Cetyl myristate. Take six capsules daily for a maximum of six
weeks. This is very effective for osteoarthitis and rheumatoid
arthritis. It can also relieve the pain and soreness of
fi bromyalgia. This fatty acid works even better if it is taken
with the other nutrients listed here.
➤ Strontium (200 to 400 mg/day to a maximum of 1.7 g/day).
Strontium helps heal osteoporosis. Take on an empty stomach.
Take calcium and strontium in the ratio of 2 to 1.
➤ Gerovital (200 mg/day). This medication is made up of
procaine, which chemically is almost identical to the anesthetic
dentists use. Gerovital can prevent arthritis.
➤ Hyaluronic acid (150 mg/day). See Resources.
➤ Glucosamine sulfate (1,000 mg/day). Glucosamine forms
cushioning and lubricants between joints. Avoid chondroitin, as
it can lead to cancer. Also, studies show it is not the
chondroitin but the glucosamine sulfate that relieves arthritic
pain.
➤ Vitamin E (800 to 1,600 units/day). Vitamin E prevents the
destruction of fatty acids needed to build strong cell
membranes in muscle and bone cells that keep out toxins.
➤ A formula consisting of fi sh, primrose, and fl axseed oil.
This supplement relieves the swelling and pain of osteoarthritis.
Don’t take it without vitamin E, which prevents the toxic
breakdown of these essential fatty acids.
