How to motivate


people


Motivating people is the process of getting people to move in the
direction you want them to go.
The organization as a whole can provide the context within
which high levels of motivation can be achieved through reward
systems and the provision of opportunities for learning and
development. But individual managers still have a major part to
play in deploying their own motivating skills to get individual
members of their team to give of their best, and to make good use
of the motivational systems and processes provided by the
company.
