dimensions of society,


Social exchange theory: The theory that focuses on
“the costs and benefits which people obtain in
social interaction, including money, goods, and
status. It is based on the principle that people
always act to maximize benefit.


Social facts: A Durkhemian concept that, refer to meant
the patterns of behavior that characterize a
social group in a given society; they are distinct
from biological and psychological facts.
