Signed and dated “E. Boudin 89” l.r., identified on a label affixed to the
stretcher.
Oil on canvas, 19 3/4 x 29 in. (50.2 x 74.0 cm), in a period frame.
Condition: Lined and re-stretched on a new stretcher, mild surface
grime.


Provenance: J. Eastman Chase (1840-1923), art dealer, Boston;
William Whitman, Boston, then by descent within the family to the
current owner.
