Charles Henry Humphriss (American, 1867-1934)

The Warrior, probably a posthumous cast

Inscribed and dated “Ch.H. Humphriss 1904” within

the cast on the base.

Bronze with dark brown patina, 16 1/4 x 14 1/4 x 4

1/8 in. (41.7 x 36.3 x 10.5 cm), mounted to an oval

marble plinth.

Condition: Minor areas of wear to patina, dust in the

interstices.

Provenance: From a private Maine collection.
