    Cartonnier and bout de bureau by Bernard II
    van Risenburgh. Maker of the clock case
    unknown. The clock movement by Etienne
    II Le Noir. The clock dial enameled by
    Jacques Deck
    Oak veneered with ebonized wood and
    painted with vernis Martin; enameled and
    painted metal; glass; gilt-bronze mounts
    Cartonnier and bout de bureau stamped
    BVRB on the back; cartonnier uso stamped
    with the name of E.J. CUVELLIER, who
    possibly restored it. Several mounts on
    clock case stamped with the crowned Cfor
    1745-1749. The clock dial and movement
    are signed Etienne LeNoir ¿París. The spring

of the striking train is dated IJ46 and the
back of the dial bears the enameled inscrip-
tion ,decU.ij46. Metal plaque on the rear
of cartonnier engraved AngeWs 183$; also a
torn typed label with M....xandrine de.....
