Better Available Light Digital Photography : How to Make the Most of Your Night and Low-light Shots

(Frankie) #1

Keeping a camera handy is always a good rule because you don’t know when a rainstorm will produce a
rainbow. Joe had a Fuji FinePix 4800 Zoom camera handy when this double rainbow appeared in his neigh-
borhood near the end of the day. He really liked the color of the light and the two rainbows, even though the
second one was faint. He grabbed the camera, put it in Program mode, and made a series of 10 to 12 shots
before the rainbows were gone. The camera’s EXIF data recorded an exposure of 1/80 sec at f/2.8 at ISO
