Construction-Phase Process

1. Installing C ontractor prepa res roofing and roof related sheet metal submittals, FM
   Global Roof Nav "Contractor Package" for each assembly, and preliminary F M Global Form X -2688 –
   Application for Acceptance of Roofing System for e ach assembly, and submits to the Design Professional for
   review. This submittal package s hall demonstrate that all aspects of the r oo f system a nd roof related sheet metal
   work comply with the specifications and represent combinations of products that c omply with the specified
   RoofNav Assembly Numbers.


2. Roofing manufacturer and Design Prof essional assist Contractor with thi s submittal, as necessary. Review and
   revisions s hall proceed until the submittal i s judged to be capable of passing FM Global review and approv al.


3. Contractor then transmits roofing and roof r elated sheet metal submitta ls, F M Global
   RoofNav "Contractor Package" f or each assembly, and FM Global Form X -2688 – Application f or Acceptance of
   Roof ing System for e ach assembly to FM G lobal for review and approv al.
   FM Global reviews and provides comments. If all of the prior s teps have been completed satisfactorily, FM Global
   app roval should be a tur nkey process. This step, in conjunction with final field review, will provide the for mal
   acceptance for the r oof s ystem.
