out of all of your devices. There are perhaps
even greater things to come as part of this year’s
WWDC announcements - we could see apps
drag and drop between macOS and iPadOS, and
thanks to Project Catalyst, developers could get
in on the action and allow for genuine cross-
platform capabilities that have not before
been possible.


One thing that’s important to note is that
Universal Control won’t be available on all Macs
and iPads when it launches due to technical
limitations. Only MacBook Pros released in
2016 or later, MacBooks released 2016 or later,
MacBook Airs from 2018 and later, iMac models
from 2017 and later, iMac 5K Retina 27-inch
from late 2015 and beyond, the iMac Pro, the
Mac mini from 2018, and later and the 2019
Mac Pro will support the tech on the Mac side.
