Top—This client originally came in to
create a portfolio for bodybuilding. She
ended up booking a separate boudoir
session after seeing the results from her
first photo shoot. I created the wind-
blown look using a wind machine. If you
don’t have a wind machine, simply use a
fan or hairdryer set to cool. I usually po-
sition my wind machine on the same
side as my main light.Bottom—Here’s
the set used in the previous portrait. It’s
a Denny Manufacturing beach backdrop
with real rocks used as a prop. As you
can see, you can create an outdoor feel
in the comfort and privacy of your cam-
