Sadistic god
I wonder, is God sadistic?
Finding joy in people's pain?
I was never pessimistic
But all I can hear is rain
Who said that life should be hard?
Why is that a given rule?
Is our almighty God
Simply that unfair and cruel?
Is our crying that amusing?
Is it music to the heavens?
Manipulating and using
Us until we give up living
He made us, he gave us brains
He gave us a mind and will
Desires that bring us pain
And a life much more like hell
Iām hoping when doomsday comes
I'll be lying in my grave
I'll be buried in the slumps
Hollow of the soul He gave
