IMM PURE TALENTS

ANTON HENDRIK DENYS rethinks the concept of privacy with
Foam Fences, a series of ‘floating’ room dividers that help to
define the areas of a space without blocking light or restricting
views. Foam-rubber strips overlap to form a grid. Covering these
strips is a coating with an almost metallic appearance, a bold
contrast to the softness of lightweight foam.

Motivated by all the moose hides that are discarded when
hunting season is over, Swedish designer VICTOR ALGE
developed a process for putting the skins to use. He softens
the hides, sews them together, and inflates them with
air before leaving them to dry. The outcome is a set of
chairs he calls Alces Alces, made from a natural material
that’s as rigid as hard plastic.

For Stained Carpet, IRENA MIRER ARTZI interfered in the production process to apply an impacting
liquid that turns what seem to be unwanted blemishes into interesting patterns. When she applies
the liquid, the carpet attracts spills and arranges them to form coloured motifs. No two rugs are alike.
