The Aftermath
In winter 1946, shortly after the conclusion
of World War II, Rachael Morgan (Keira
Knightley) arrives in the war-torn German
city of Hamburg to reunite with her husband
Lewis (Jason Clarke), a British colonel helping
to rebuild the area. However, their already
tense relationship is further pressured when
they share a house with a German widower
(Alexander Skarsgård).
