Monstrance
Circa 1900
The waisted columnar standard issuing a berried
branch, a crown of thorns mounted beveled glass
inset drum form case enclosed by a pierced trefoil
surround with a finely enameled band and an
outer vine band on top of a spiky sunburst band,
mounted on a cartouche plinth base cast with leaf
tips raised on four berried spray feet, with fitted
carrying case.
