The drum form clock case with inset white enameled dial and Roman numerals enclosing
an outer Arabic seconds dial, housing an eight day strike movement, surmounted by the
figure of Europa, partially clad in a draped panel, the clock case caparisoned on the figure
of bull with warm brown patination, the cartouche shape base cast with vegetation, raised
on cartouche feet, the dial enameled “Chardon a Paris”.

friezes, each fitted with a center drawer adorsed by scroll mounts and twin shaped short
drawers with pendant handles, complete on all sides, raised on cabriole legs headed by
female bust form term figures ending in leafy capping, overall decorated with gilt plain
banding.
