The ovolo molded dish form with a rocaille border headed with alternating
cartouche shields and antheniom leaves, the tray engraved with elaborate
strapwork, raised on scroll feet, London Hallmarks, stamped on base “Smith &
Nicholson/Duke Street/Linfields”.

The elegant pear form cast with a long slender neck ending in a collared
rim, an auricular handle with a leafy tendril, an integrated hinged dome form
lid with an acorn finial, overall with a floral swag bright cut engraved deco-
ration and twin ovolo medallions, on a cushioned foot, Sheffield crown hall-
mark around neck.
