figure of a camel, London hallmarks, IMS maker’s mark.

cast in hollows with stylized leaf tendrils on a stip-
pled ground, a lion repousse band over a bombe
bowl with a wide band of stylized swirling gadroon-
ing with beading, on a dome form base with con-
forming repousse band, Sheffield hallmarks and JD&S
maker, a later engraved inscription around foot rim “Fra
skandin aviske Venner Kina til Jakol Gundersen d 25
Marts 1936”.

CBS cartouche maker’s mark.
