Continental Bisque Figural Group of Two Gentlemen
Possibly Russian
19th Century
The blanc-de-chine group modeled as two gentleman, in attire of pantaloons,
vests, and long coats, standing in front of a tree trunk, the gentleman on left
leaning towards his counterpart jointly holding a laurel wreath, marked on base;
with an associated ebonized wood base.
Height without base 15 inches (38 cm)

Meissen Pink Dragon Pattern Porcelain Lot
Each piece decorated with a dragon enclosing a center roundel of a pair of
phoenix; comprising two dinner plates (diameter 9 3/4 inches, 25 cm); two
pierced dessert plates (diameter 9 1/4 inches, 23.5 cm); one cup and one sau-
cer; three pots de creme with covers (height 3 1/2 inches, 9 cm); together with
two cups and saucers encrusted with flowers, raised on six thin cylindrical feet,
one painted in rose camieu, the other with blue forget-me-nots and painted with
insect specimen (13).

The group modeled with a young muscular Bacchus
walking astride and supporting a drunken Silenus
riding an ass, with a seated female Bacchante feeding
the donkey grapes, a putto pulling his tail, the whole
raised on an oval rounded base with lavender and
green painted vegetation with gilt decorated raised
molded rocaille scrolls, underglaze blue cross swords
with letter “S” and “50.” painted in orange.
Height 8 inches (20 cm)

Royal Vienna Turquoise Ground
Porcelain Urn
The ovoid body centering a handpainted oval medal-
lion titled “Cries of London Fine Basket of Cherries”
featuring a fruit seller being courted by a gentleman,
market scene with cart and a basket of cherries,
reserved on a turquoise ground with gilt scrollwork
and floral blossom bands, the cover mounted with a
knob finial, a square platform base.
Height 12 3/4 inches (32.5 cm)

Dresden Porcelain Figural Center Bowl
A harvest grouping of young Bacchantes encircling a
tree trunk, spreading to form a cornucopia of fruit, a
pair of children conversing, a third winged child car-
rying a sheep, a fourth hiding behind the tree, the
whole on an integrated rocaille scrollwork base with
molded fruit, impressed 826.

cm)
