  • Buttons – Disk-shape or slightly domed
    earrings, often with cluster or pavé settings.

  • Pendant – One or more gems in
    a setting that’s suspended from a
    neck chain.
    •Drop or Lavaliere (lah-vuh-
    LEER)– A pendant that’s suspended from the
    neck chain by another short chain or decorative
    element.

  • Slide– A large pendant with slotted sides,
    made to slide on a heavy neck chain.
