It’ll come as no surprise that the Samsung
Galaxy S22 series looks like a winner –
Samsung pulls it out of the bag every year,
offering the latest in smartphone tech packed
into a range of sleek, sturdy devices.
One thing that all the new models have in
common is an eco-conscious spin on things:
Samsung has repurposed ocean-bound plastic,
like fishing nets, to build the phones.
At the top-end of the new series, you’ll find
the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, the all-singing
all-dancing handset that offers the most
advanced tech and the most sophisticated
design made for enthusiasts and professionals.
Ultra by name, Ultra by nature. It even comes
with the S Pen slotted into the body of the
phone. Getting a feeling of deja vu? You’re not
going crazy: it does look a lot like the Samsung
Galaxy Note 20. It was actually inspired by the
old Note series, so it was evidently created with
productivity in mind.
For those who want top-tier specs but aren’t
keen on top-end prices, the Samsung Galaxy
S22 and the Samsung Galaxy S22+ are much
more modest. At first glance, they aren’t that
different to last year’s phones but it’s the new
photo and video features that set them apart
with the nighttime shots and editing
capabilities looking better than ever before.
All seem set to be the very best Android
phones this year. Although the Ultra is the cream
of the crop, it’s the cheaper models that are
likely to convince the most people. We always
expect big things from this smartphone giant
and it seems like they’ve delivered yet again.
