4. The Divine Guidance
Humanconscienceandintelligencealonearenotenoughtoguideusto
theperfectioninthethreedimensionsoflifementionedabove.TheDiv-
ineguidanceistheanswer:itcomesfromtheunlimitedsourceofknow-
ledgewhichhasnoroomforerror,anditsimplementationiscomparat-
ivelymoreguaranteedbecauseofthedireconsequencesinthehereafter
from which no one can escape.
Conscienceandintelligence,withconfirmationfromtheDivineguid-
ance,canhelpmantoreachfelicitywithoutdangerofcorruptionordi-
version. Imam ‘Ali (a.s.) said,
Then God sent His messengers and prophets to mankind to make
themfulfillthepledgesofHiscreation,torecalltothemHisbounties,to
exhortthembypreaching,to unveil beforethemthe hidden virtuesof
wisdom and show them the signs of His Omnipotence.
