The Distinctions of the Divine Guidance:
The Divineguidanceisnot concernedwithone dimensionof lifeonly.
Godsentmessengersandprophetstoguidepeopleinordertoreachper-
fection in the material as wellas the spiritual dimensions of life. The
prophetsandmessengershaveguidedusinspiritualplaneaswellasin
politics,injusticeaswellasineconomy,inpersonalproblemsaswellas
in social responsibilities.
TheDivineguidanceisnotrestrictedtooneclassofsociety;itencom-
passesalllevels ofpeopleandupholdsthe rightsofall.Thisbeliesthe
claimofthosewhothinkthatreligionwasinventedbythewealthyclass,
andthatitwasinventedinfeudal andcapitalistsocietiesto servetheir
interest. Moreover, history bears witness that the upper and wealthy
classesdid not participate in the movements led bythe prophets, and
that Divine religions always opposed the oppression of feudalists and
capitalists.
