each clove. The skins fell away easily,
and I got all my aggressions out at the
same time!
- MICROPLANE GRATER: I own the
most useful Microplane grater on the
planet, but I can’t seem to remember
where I purchased it or find an exact
replica anywhere. The ones on the
market now have very tiny holes (better
for grating dry spices) or are big and
difficult to clean. The one I have is tiny
enough to stick in your back pocket, but
with medium-sized holes—essential
when grating ginger root or garlic. I take
it with me to all my cooking demos, and
everyone who’s tried to steal it so far
has been unsuccessful!
