Note: Because of the combination of
lemon juice and tomatoes, this salad
doesn’t have a long shelf life. Some
recipes call for you to mix in the
Tamarind–Date Chutney, but I prefer to
add it at the end. It tends to make the
salad soggy if it’s mixed in too early.
