Orange Salad

Believe it or not, oranges are also
considered a street food in parts of
India. When they’re in season, you’ll
see vendors positioned around bustling
marketplaces and office buildings
squeezing fresh juice from large, juicy
oranges. They mix this juice with a
dash of salt and black salt (kala
namak). The rest is history—delicious,
sweet, tangy refreshment in a glass.
This salad reminds me of the same
taste. The olives are a Middle Eastern
twist that gives you a real pop of
flavor.
