Cooked, Plain Adzuki Beans

ON LOW; YIELD: 8 CUPS (1.90 L)
3 cups (591 g) whole dried adzuki
beans, picked over and washed
5 cups (1.19 L) water
- Put the beans and water in the slow
cooker. (See page 47 for details on
making this dish without a slow cooker.) - Cook on low for 3½ hours.
- Rinse the beans in a colander with
cold water to stop the cooking process
and drain any excess liquid.
