Home, school, work, and


vacation


A man’s home is his castle. Whether it is a mansion, a humble house, or a shared
apartment, we all need a place to call home. In this unit you will learn the adjec-
tives frequently used to describe lodgings and furnishings. In addition you will
learn adjectives that describe school, class, work, and vacations. In a world where
people are oft en lifelong learners and work until advanced ages, school and work
vocabulary are indeed important.
