Adverbs modify the meaning of a verb in a variety of ways. Observe and note in
which way each adverb modifi es the action of the verb in the following
sentences.Elle travaille bien. She works well.Th e adverb bien indicates the manner in which she works.Je travaille aujourd’hui. I work today.Th e adverb aujourd’hui indicates when I work.Nous travaillons régulièrement.
