Suggested Strategies and Activities:


ƒ Define entry forms as documents which both share information and require input
of information
ƒ Identify features common to workplace forms
ƒ Identify audience of workplace forms
ƒ Extract information from forms common to the Automotive Service trade
ƒ Use title of form to predict purpose and kinds of information requested
ƒ Distinguish between primary and secondary information
ƒ Analyze forms and determine degree of difficulty (i.e., simple or complex)
ƒ Examine structure and components of a variety of forms
ƒ Encourage learners to share their knowledge and experiences
ƒ Collect a variety of forms common to the Automotive Service industry
ƒ Enter information into forms common to the Automotive Service trade (accident
and insurance forms, job estimates, report of vehicle problems, warranty forms,
