talent, and treasure—which will hereafter be called the three T’s—of
which you are the steward. Managing and measuring the three T’s is the
key to abundant success and is how I measure my business and progress.

Our time is our most valuable resource. How we use it determines our
level of success in life. God (supernatural) used David’s time in the wil-
derness to prepare him for something larger. Without David’s willing-
ness (natural) to prepare himself by learning to use his weapons, and to
play the harp, God could not have used him for his needs.

We all experience the same number of hours in a day, a week, or a year.
Have you ever noticed that the busiest people are the ones who always
have time to help someone else? This is no accident. Top producers are
better stewards of their time. When we make the best use of our time,
spending our days in productive pursuits and managing our time well,
we can always find time for something more.

I have found that the more time I give to help others; the more others
take the time to help me. This past summer, my wife and I volunteered
at our church to teach a life skills class to those in need of education but
lacked the funds to pay for it. We developed the curriculum, set aside
10 hours a week to prepare, and spent eight weeks teaching 10 students
computer skills. At the end of the summer, we were overjoyed with the
progress, and our community leaders noticed, as well. We were recog-
nized, and our program is being modeled for future training courses.
And, very surprisingly, unseen opportunities have literally come out of
nowhere for both my wife and I in our work and personal lives, as a
result of our giving.

I try to remember the more I give the more I receive. I have to do my part
in the natural to receive the supernatural blessing I can’t see. It does not
matter where you offer the extra time: you can attend a church, volunteer,
or help homeless families, all that matters is you put forth the extra effort.

The second gift that each person receives is a unique talent. Now, some
talents we are born with and some we have to learn or develop to the full-
est potential. When you develop your talents, you are becoming an even
better version of the person you want to be. When you teach other people
