walk”!!! He transformed the face of pop music and pop culture.
Michael arrived with his Nanny, his bodyguard Henry Aubrey, whom
I became friends with, and the most gorgeous kids I had ever laid my
eyes on! Paris his daughter looked like a porcelain doll with beautiful
brown curls.
Prince was so blond at that age (his hair got darker later) and handsome,
he looked like a real prince! They both looked like top model children.
It was January 2002, so they must have been 4 and 5 years old. They
were both absolutely beautiful, well-behaved children, especially when
they saw the castle’s theater with a special drawbridge platform. To put
it simply, the kids were in awe. I could tell they loved the estate instantly.
They were so beautiful they almost did not seem real. Michael was a
very thoughtful, kind father; you could easily see the bond he had with
his children. He was a very attentive, loving father and it showed that
his kids were his world. All he wanted was something his children loved
and could call their home.
As I followed him through Tyecliffe, the music icon wandered through
the Estate, as he danced, glided, sang and entertained me in each
room. We chatted in the main sitting room, designed like a tavern, then
took in the beauty of sunny South Florida weather by the rock-lined
pool. Michael was so full of energy and enthusiastic! It was quite magi-
cal to watch Michael so full of spirit and joy.
This was the most memorable experience I have ever had in my career
of Real Estate! I can only hope for another experience half as special in
the future.
This castle had been built by the Wackenhut’s, a prestigious, well-
known family that had founded Wackenhut Security. The Wackenhut’s
built this estate modeled after a castle they fell in love with while travel-
ing in Europe. It was a very romantic story, in which George Wackenhut
built a castle for the love of his life, Ruth. I am waiting for my prince
charming to do that for me!
