Are you reaching or achieving your highest potential? If not, you are
probably uncomfortable thinking that how well we fulfill our potential
and the destiny we each reach, is in our own hands. Circumstances set
boundaries, defining routes to achievement and influencing how we go
about achieving, but free will determines what we do with our potential.

We inherit characteristics from the genes of our parents, their parents, and
their parents’ parents. Psychologist, Carl Jung, recognized the archetypal
symbolism ancient astrologers used as psychological knowledge as they
describe different qualities of human potential. Still relevant today, they
are possibly equivalent to psychological DNA. What you inherit, and the
astrology of your birth, set potential for what you can achieve.

Oscar Pistorius was born with a genetic defect that led to amputation of
both his legs below the knees. His astrology shows Oscar had the poten-
tial of becoming a superb athlete. The 2012 Olympics saw Oscar defy
the fate of his circumstances to choose his highest potential and effec-
tively and brilliantly compete against the world’s greatest able-bodied
runners.
