Christy Smith is the Founder and President of The Presley Group,
LLC, a retirement planning firm in Denham Springs, Louisiana.
Christy is a fully licensed insurance agent and has earned rec-
ognition as a Certified Estate Planner and Certified Long Term
Care Specialist and is a long standing member of the National
Ethics Bureau. As a long time member of the Million Dollar Roundtable, Christy has
worked tirelessly to make a difference by devoting her life to helping retirees and
those approaching retirement understand their retirement needs and goals. Christy
specializes in providing “safe money” retirement strategies that allow her clients to
create financial security in any economy, providing not only a sound financial future
but peace of mind during retirement.
As one of the nation’s leading retirement, estate planning and insurance specialists,
Christy hosts a weekly radio show, “Your Money Matters,” featuring industry experts
like former U.S. Comptroller David Walker and Erwin Kellner, Chief Economist for Market
Watch. Christy has been hosting “Your Money Matters” for the past five years, providing
sound financial planning and retirement advice to the Baton Rouge community. In ad-
dition to her popular radio program, Christy has also authored two books, Plan, Protect,
and Preserve and The Ultimate Retirement Guide.
Christy lives in Denham Springs, LA with her husband Richard and her three children-
Alexis, Coleman and Presley. Christy is a devoted mother and proud Christian, and
attempts to maintain her strong family and Christian values in both her personal and
professional life. Faith is the foundation of both Christy’s personal life and The Presley
Group’s mission to serve and, inline with the Bible verse “everything in heaven and
earth is yours” (1 Chronicles 29:11), she believes that people should be good stew-
ards with their money – and that includes making responsible decisions about putting
it in environments where it can best serve people’s needs during their later years.
