(Ben Green) #1

  • Each scene should flow! Does it transition easily from the last scene and into the
next? Will it fit neatly into the whole?

  • Consider length. Is it too long? Does it repeat information that we already have?
Once in a while you may want to repeat important information that you think the
    audience might have missed.

  • Is there enough conflict and action? Cut exposition. Show; don’t tell.

  • Is the scene unpredictable with twists, turns, and reversals? Does it build to a climax?
Is there freshness in the way that the scene is portrayed?

  • Does the scene make us want to know what happens next?

  • Is it entertaining, funny, emotional, or tension filled? Can you heighten these?
