The best-selling car in the

UK last month, the Kia

Sportagehas beentrans-

formed over theyears from

adullbudget SUV into a

stylish, tech-laden, family-

friendly car. This fifth-

generationversionseesthe

additionofhybrids and

plug-inpowertrains, using

Kia’s1.6 T-GDi petrol

engine. The new Sportage

uses thesameplatform as

the HyundaiTucson, and

there’s frontand four-

wheel-driveoptions.
