The Deccan Plateau : It is divided in to 3
parts.
- The Deccan Lava Plateau.
- The Telangana Plateau
- The Karnataka Plateau
The Deccan Lava Plateau : formed due to
fissure eruption .at present the black soil
has developed in this region.
- Regur soils : black soils
- Lonar Lake at Buldana ,Maharashtra
formed due to collision of Meteorite.- In south merge with KN plateau and in east
with Telangana plateau
