The grand intellectuals and educationists denied imposing English
languagesin schoolsandinstitutessinceithinders mentalgrowth and
impedesthegeneralcourseofstudyinginthecountrysincestudentsare
notfamiliarwithit.Ghandisays,“Englishlanguagehasstoppedagainst
conveyingpluralityofknowledgetothemasses.Theincreasinginterest
inEnglishlanguagehasburdenedweightythingsonteachingandinter-
dictedchildren’smentalitiesfromenjoyingnaturallife.Moreover,ithas
made them strange in their lands and homes.”.
GhandiforbadeEnglishlanguageinIndianschoolsforitsgreatdam-
ages.Heissuedadecisionthat;“WewillnotpermitteachingEnglishbe-
cause we realize that most of children’s time are wasted uselessly in
memorizingEnglishwordsandstatements.Eveniftheyarepermittedto
memorize andrepeat these words and statements, they are unable of
translatingthemintotheirmotherlanguage.Theyarealsodisableofbe-
nefiting by lessons of their teachers.”.
IslamicandArabcountriesareableofexpellingthislanguage,which
isone the imperialistresiduals,andtranslatethe textbooksinto Arabic
for the purpose of making the students’ tasks easiersince this foreign
language isoverexerting them. Likewise, thisprocess may enliven the
Arabicthat theimperialistsattempted strenuouslyto killandenervate.
Atanyrate, masteringofmorethanone languageispreferableandre-
quiredaccordingtodoctrinalinstructions.TheProphet(s)orderedZeid
binThabitofmasteringtheHebrew.AsanArabproverb,itissaid,“He
whoevermaster alanguageofapeople, willsecuretheirevils.”There-
with,demandingwithexpellingtheEnglishlanguagesfromourscientif-
icinstitutesisnotanencouragementonrestrictingtothemothertongue.
The solicitors of Islam are more required to master foreign languages
thanotherssothattheywillbroadcastsolicitationtoGodandrefutethe
suspected matters arisen against Islam.
