Pondering Over the Creation of Man
Islamhasencouragedonponderingoverthecreationandcomposition
of man. God says:
So,letmanconsiderofwhatheiscreated.Heiscreatedofwaterpour-
ingforth,comingfrombetweenthebackandtheribs.Mostsurely,heis
ableto returnhimto life.Onthe day,the hiddenthingsshallbe made
manifest. Heshall have neither strength nor helper.
Opeople! If youare doubtabout the raising, surely we created you
fromdust,thenfromasmallseed,thenfromaclot,thenfromalumpof
flesh,completeinmakeandincomplete,thatwemaymakecleartoyou.
Andwe causewhat we please to stay in the wombs till an appointed
time.Thenwe bringyouforthasbabies,thenthatyoumayattainyour
maturity.Andofyouishe,whoisbroughtbacktotheworstpartoflife,
so that after havingknowledge he does not know anything.
Men’srealizing themselves, aswellas lookingupon the worlds and
the mysteriesthere, is within the mattersthat incite to believe in God
without doubt. Afif abdul-Fettah says, “The Evidenceson God’sexist-
ence,which arelyingin man’sessences,are innumerable.Withthe ex-
tensionofthescientificscope,theseevidencesgrowmoreacceptableand
plentiful. All these evidences verify that thisfantastic creature should
haveaWiseLord.Whichof theman’s aspectsarenot astonishing and
amazing?
Are man’s phases in the uteri not one of God’s portents?
Thedigestivesystemdissolvesthefoodintovariantbalanced materi-
als.Eachmaterialdirectstothe placewhereitfulfillsitsfunctionwhile
the unusable is emitted. Are these not one of God’s portents?
The system of blood distribution is responsible fortaking the blood
fromitsmaincenter,whichistheheart,toallofthebodydirectionsvia
uncountablearteries,thenreturnstotheheartthroughthebloodcircula-
tion and the passageof airthat is broughtby aspiration.This process
aimsatreformingthepollutedbloodandbetteringthebody.Isthissys-
tem not one of God’s portents?
Man’s hearing, sight, articulation, and feelings, including oblivion,
grief,delight, familiarity,andignorance;all theseare withinthegrand
evidences that refer to the Creator’s existence.”.
The modern microscopic devises and labs could realize a tiny part
only. All these refer to the Creator’s excellence and power.
