Maturity of Willpower
Ethicistsaffirmthatthetreatmentofthelackofwillpoweristhecom-
mitmenttohardandarduousworksthatempowerandhelpinovercom-
ingthedifficulties.Withinthefactorsthatincreasethewillpoweristhe
exertionofallefforts.Hence,weshouldnevershowanydelinquencyin
anydutythatweshouldact.Islamhasalsocalledforthisquality. God
says:
And if you determine, rely upon God.
Aswell,consideringthedeedsofthegreatmenofhistoryisameansof
arousingwillpower,sincethosemencouldnotachievetheirsuccessand
changethehistoryunlesstheyenjoyedahighwillpowerthatincitedto
do virtues.
