TheProphetandtheImamswordedmanysayingsincitingMuslimsto
be true-tongued and avoid fabrication.
TheProphet(s)said,“Holdfastonsincerity.Itguidestothebenevol-
encethatguides tothe Paradise.Man isstillsayingandinspectingthe
truthuntilheisrecordedasaveracious toAllah.Beware ofuntruth.It
leadstolicentiousnessthatleadstothehell-fire.Amanisstilllyingand
inspection fabrication till he is recorded as a liar to Allah.”.
Imamas-Sadiq(a)said,“Regardnottheelongationofthegenuflection
–Rukuu-andprostration–Sujoud-.Thismay beahabit,withoutwhich
onemay feelbored.Youshouldregard thetruthfulnessandthe fulfill-
mentof trusts.”.“Godthe Elevatedhadneversent aprophet butwith
truthfulness and fulfillment of trusts to the pious and the licentious.”.
Advisinghisadherents,Imamas-Sadiq(a)said,“Besolicitorstogood
doing with means other than your tongues so that people will notice
your solemnity, veracity, and piety.”
