Reciprocal Kindness and Symphathy
Islamhasencouragedbeingkindandsympathetictoeachother.Kind-
nessandsympathyarethemostimportantmeansofMuslims’unityand
congruity.Imamas-Sadiq(a)said,“FearGodandbegoodandconcord-
antbrothersforGod’ssake.You shouldbeinterconnectedandkindto
eachother.Visitandmeeteachother.Mentionandrefreshouraffairs.”.
“Muslims shouldvisit eachother andcooperate in fieldsof sympathy
andcondolence to the needy. They shouldbe reciprocally empathy so
thattheywillbecongruentlycompassionate,asGoddecrees.Youshould
pursuethe supporters–Ansar-intheProphet’stime.”“Visiteachother
and be reciprocally kind, merciful and sympathetic.”
If Muslims apply these vital instructions, they will certainly be one
handagainstothers, andwillstop theirenemiesandrivals. Moreover,
povertyanddeprivationwillbeeradicatedfromtheirsocieties.Coopera-
tionandfirmrelationsarethefirmestfactorsofthesocialsolidaritythat
protects Muslims from poverty and indigence.
